FRI is the first universal, data-driven reputation score for football players — combining on-field performance, social influence, media coverage, and character into one transparent number. Every component is computed from public data on a fixed schedule, and the formula below is the whole of it.
Fair, transparent, and position-neutral. Every component is publicly auditable.
Every competitive match counts — league, domestic cups, Europe and the national team — weighted by minutes played, with Champions League minutes worth a little more. Stats normalized by position. GK measured by saves, DEF by tackles/interceptions, MID by key passes, FWD by goals per 90. Blended 60/40 with a career baseline so stars don't crater during an off year.
Log-scaled follower count across Instagram, X, TikTok. Weighted by engagement rate and 30-day follower growth. Prevents megastars from crowding out everyone else.
NLP sentiment analysis on news articles from 200+ outlets. Positive coverage raises score, negative stories lower it. Weighted by media outlet authority ranking.
Yellow/red cards, scandals, referee disputes subtract points. Charity work, fair play awards, captaincy add. Each event runs through community voting (see "Vote on Events") so obvious cases auto-apply and grey-area ones are validated by fans.
Whether you're a player, a fan, or a global brand — FRI gives you the data you need.
